47th Constitution Day of the Marshall Islands: Celebration Highlights from Taipei


On Friday, May 22, the Embassy hosted a reception in Taipei to celebrate the 47th Constituion Day of the Republic of the Marshall Islands.


More than 200 distinguished guests joined the celebration, including senior officials of the Republic of China (Taiwan), members of the diplomatic corps, and representatives from the business, academic, cultural, media, and Marshallese communities. H.E. Baushuan Ger, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, delivered congratulatory remarks on behalf of the Government and people of the Republic of China (Taiwan), reaffirming the strong partnership between the Marshall Islands and Taiwan.


H.E. Ambassador Anjanette Kattil conveyed greetings from H.E. President Hilda C. Heine and expressed appreciation for the enduring friendship between the two countries. Highlighting this year’s theme, “Jabdrik Jab Itwelok,” Ambassador Kattil emphasized unity, resilience, and collective progress, while reaffirming the RMI’s commitment to further strengthening its longstanding partnership with Taiwan.
