At the 80th Session of the UN General Assembly, Her Excellency President Heine addressed world leaders, reaffirming the Marshall Islands' strong support for Taiwan.

“The island nation of Taiwan has been repeatedly excluded from important international engagements throughout the UN system, despite its role as an important partner to the Marshall Islands and the world — in advancing the SDGs, technical cooperation, and promoting regional peace,” President Heine stated.
