Taiwan holds cooking competition in Marshall Islands

Taiwan International Cooperation and Development Foundation organized a vegetable cooking competition for Marshall Islands elementary school students to mark the nation’s education week.
Twenty-four students from six schools participated in the cook-off on Feb. 24. The students used produce cultivated with the help of Taiwan ICDF, including eggplants, bok choy, cherry tomatoes, and water spinach, according to the foundation.
Participants also gave presentations about cooking techniques and the importance of a balanced diet.
